This is not a new friend, she is also one of my very very old friend from school. Her life story is exactly like the little ugly duckling that become a very beautiful swan when she grew up.

Hi to the 2 or 3 small cats that visit my blog. Haha I disappeared for 3 weeks. So busy lately, cousins and friend getting married, friends from KL visitting, house hunting for my mom's friends coming from Taiwan........ Just very tired from all the activities in my life right now.

24 hours a day is really not enough time for me right now. I NEED MORE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 cousins getting married this month. One was on the 13th September and another one is on the 26th September which is tomorrow!! I try to help them out to make their big day more memorable whatever way possible.

Other than that, a lot of other things are also draining my energy. My house is rented out recently, we had to move some furnitures and other items that I wish to keep. This is so much more exhausting than attending the dinners and entertaining friends. We rented a lorry to move our things and we expected the lorry driver to bring a few guys to move the furnitures. What a shock we had when we found out he was there alone. HE DID NOT BRING ANY WORKERS WITH HIM. End up Ming Kang and me had to help him load the things onto his lorry.

The problem of my house being rented did not just end there. My mom's friends are coming Miri early next month. When we visited them in Taiwan in September of 2007, they really treated us with excellent hospitality. We stayed at their house FOC and they paid for almost all our meals and transport. My mom and me agreed that they will stay at my house when they come over(since my house was empty when we last talked to them). Just 3 days after we told them the news, someone wanted to rent my house!! Arghhhhhhh where do I find a place for them to stay then?? Where where where?? Can anybody tell me where I can find one empty house for them to stay in Ocotber??!!!!!! So now, I'm busy finding a place for them to stay. Anybody have any good suggestion or good solution?

I really look forward to October.... a new month. September is really not a good month for me...

October might be better... there will be 2 vacation trips for me in October. I will be going to Kuching with MK,Yen and Simboon for a weekend on the 10th October. Then my next trip will be to PHUKET end of October. I really wish I can go right now.... just relax and get away from this crazy crazy life.

PS: Yen, you cannot call me L**r lo... hahahaha, I met my deadline o.

September Birthday Boys

BBQ (3.9.2008)

September is quite a busy month for our gang. We had a simple BBQ dinner at our Interhill house to celebrate Ming Kang and Leon's birthday. Leon's birthday is actually the next day(4th September), but they decided to celebrate it together.

Haha surprise to see so many people in the group photo? Please remember the one in light blue shirt on the right. If you ever invite him to any party or dinner, please remember to prepare WHITE RICE and CHILLI SAUCE. He will nag all night if he doesn't get his rice or sauce. The cake is really very nice. It is called "Royal Cheese cake" from Wilton Cake House. The price is slightly on the high side but it is worth it because they put a lot of cheese, even on top of the cake is also layered with cheddar cheese.




Korean Dinner(7.9.2008)

Last Sunday, we went out to celebrate Eet's birthday. We went to the new Korean Restaurant opposite Chung Hua Middle School. The food is so over priced. We only ordered 3 dished with soup, that already cost us RM147. The appetizers were FOC but the portions were quite small. The seaweed tasted more like MSG soup than seaweed soup.

This is Eet, and that is the expression on his face most of the time... hahaha trying to act cool? And that's his birthday cake. Hahaha a little more adult than Ming Kang and Leon's cake? Sadly, Eet was not satisfied with our "surprise" cake. He complaint the shape of his "cake" were not ideal, too flat. And he requested 'stripper' for his next birthday. We will try our best to arrange for you next year ok?

Purpose of Life....

What is the purpose of your life? What is your goal? What do you want to achieve in your lifetime? People change everyday, goals change or in some cases, just forgotten.

Do you really understand your purpose of life? Are you really trying to achieve whatever goals you have set? Lately, these questions popped up in my mind. I soon realised I am no longer having any goals, or trying to be "somebody" in this world. I can still vaguely remember all my ambitions and my dreams when I was still a student, what I wanted to be when I graduated. Everything seemed so possible and so reachable as a student, or maybe I was just too naive back then? I gave up a number of things in my life back then so I can chase my dreams. Nowadays I wonder if I made the right choices, if I took the right path.

I have changed a lot in these short few years and committed to a lot of things that was not in my expectations. Good changes or bad changes? I still cannot tell. I guess everyone changes with age and the environment they live in. I learnt to adapt to the real world. I learnt to be happy with what I have in my life because thousands and millions of people in this world are less fortunate than me. I learnt to accept that myself, my friends and family are not perfect. Changes are good, without changes people will never improve but sometimes, I will still miss the old days a little bit. Life is just too complicated.

How do I redefine my purpose of life? How can I get new goals for myself? I really have no idea at this moment. I have decided, while searching for my new purpose of life, I am still going to enjoy my life now and live my life to the fullest(eat and travel A LOT hahahahaha).

Buy!! Buy!! Buy!!

We went for a Bintulu trip a few weeks ago in July. On the way back to Miri, we had a toilet stop at a coffee shop outside Batu Niah. And I left my bag in the toilet. Wuwuwuwuwu~~~~

When we returned to get my bag, a few of my belongings were gone... forever.... wuwuwuwu~~. My bag was still in there but my phone and my digital camera were missing.

That is why in August, I had to spend spend spend. Sad... sad... sad~~~~

This is my new phone. Sony Ericsson W890i. I got it for RM910, hahaha I tricked someone to pay for it. Hehehe evil? A little bit only la~

Petra Bowling Competition 23.08.2008

We had a company friendly bowling game at StarBowl in Bintang Plaza today. Our only bowling alley in Miri, and i can say the worst bowling alley I have seen so far. There's 24 lanes altogether but only 8 lanes are working. Even the so called working lanes also suck. Some give out STRIKE for free. Some do not record the points that we throw. What a disappointment. Luckily StarBowl will be closed end of this month to service and upgrade their bowling lanes. Hopefully, after that the condition of StarBowl will improve.

Our department had 2 teams. One team got first runner up and our team was the 3rd runner up. My game was just so so. Luckily my other team members did reasonable well. Haha thanks to my team members, we still manage to squeeze ourselves into top 4.

I am very pia today. Even after the bowling game, I went for badminton tonight. Now my arm is really like tofu... After badminton, watched hellboyII at my chubby friend's house in Hilltop. You guys guess who that chubby friend is. Hahaha.... maybe got prize if guess it right. My eyes are really very heavy now and my brain is too tired, already become sot sot. So good night!!

KK Trip

Day 1

Last weekend, me and my chubby friends went to KK for a vacation.

After a late night, we still manage to wake up at 7.00am to get ready for our trip to Pulau Manukan.
